We have tried 5 new & exciting organic beauty brands – this is why you will love them

Amazing natural beauty product you won’t regret trying out!

It’s been over a year now that I completely switched to ethical beauty, and I don’t think I ever want to go back to chemical-filled products as my skin reacts really badly to them. I have recently tried out these natural and organic brands you need to know about.

Bhumih Ayurveda

Bhumih Ayurveda is a luxurious skincare range based on the principles of Ayurveda and modern scientific techniques. All their products are natural, parabens and sulphates-free. They don’t test on animals and their packaging is recyclable.

My favourite product is Vanya forest herb mask, which is antiseptic as it contains thyme oil, which is extracted from the leaf of the thyme and is used for medicinal benefits. The mask has a smooth and really earthy feel when applying along with a non-messy finish. Available on reveriebox.com.

Zyderma

Summer is approaching, a time when many of us have our breakouts. That’s why I’m happy to use an acne friendly natural gel-like clarifying cream by Zyderma which you can use on a daily basis due to its safe ingredients. It comes in a great, travel-friendly size which I personally love to keep on my bedside table in case of a sudden breakout. It also serves as a makeup primer!

Zyderma is a Canadian cruelty-free and vegan cosmetics brand that uses naturally-derived ingredients and it’s free of parabens, propylene glycol, oils, fragrances and dyes. Also, I love their packaging and it’s extremely long lasting as well. Available online.

Disguise Cosmetics

To add a bit of a glow in the story, I have to mention Disguise Cosmetics. This beauty brand has the coolest toxic-free lipsticks enriched with avocado and marula oil known to soothe and heal lips keeping them healthy and hydrated.

Also, have to mention their rainbow glow oil which they created inspired by the 5 miracle oils the brand uses in their lipsticks – avocado, marula, argon, jojoba and almond. They have mixed the ingredients together and super-powered them with olive oil and grapeseed oil to create a perfect serum. It also reduces sun damage and premature ageing. All their products are cruelty-free made with 100% vegan ingredients. Available online.

Mitti Se

Mitti Se stands for ‘From the Earth’ and the brand offer natural and highly effective body care, cleaning and health products which are safe and earth-friendly. Their products are also vegan and cruelty-free. They are completely transparent by listing all the ingredients they use.

I have tried their rosewater, face wash and serum, but the product that stood out the most for me was the aloe clay cleanser & mask. It’s made of mud from the rain forest of Central India and soaked in aloe vera juice several times until completely saturated. Finally, it’s strained, cleaned and made into a fine powder. This mask removes toxins, nourishes, moisturizes and stimulates natural healing. It also improves elasticity, minimises pores and wrinkles. Products are reasonably priced and available online.

Treewear

Treewear is an Indian brand that creates fair, natural & sustainable alternatives to everyday products, made with the environment in mind. Their natural deodorant sticks are absolute must have. They are cruelty-free, non-toxic, sustainable and made with zero waste. Also, completely safe for the children.

I use the citrus burst deodorant, which is a mix of lemon and tea tree essential oils. I have to mention their packaging too – the brand uses responsibly-made packaging made of upcycled plastic bottles, recycled paper envelopes and compostable vegetable starched bags. Treewear also has a special programme where they contribute towards planting one tree per sale!

Happy healthy beautifying!
