This is the chicest hair accessory must-have: headband

A true statement hair detail.

How to add a touch of glamour, even a drama to a simple everyday hairstyle? It appears that creative designers of renowned fashion brands and their beauty teams asked the same question when they started working on trends for fall/winter 2015. They came up with the idea of accessorizing your hair with a stylish headband. Yes, just like those we wore in the ’90s, but way cuter.

But let’s get back to the runway. Everyone had their own version of this charming trend which they skillfully incorporated in the seasonal collections. Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld went with the romantic and classy interpretation of the black satin headband, while, on the other hand, Dolce & Gabbana designer duo decided for luxe pearls and thin Bijoux hair accessory.

The same idea had Fendi’s beauty crew with their leather headbands which, just like Chanel’s and Dolce&Gabbana’s, represent a more contemporary version of this hairstyle with messy hair tucked into headband which brings us back in 2015.

The classic way of wearing this trend (as it once was) we saw on the catwalk of Giovanna Randall’s Honor where models wore shiny colourful headbands with tied-back hair, while in the backstage of Richard Chai Love and Proenza Schouler hairdressers both went with black ones.

From backstage to the red carpet…even you can have this chic hairstyle!
