This year’s Grammy Awards 2015 was held yesterday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. All the performers heated up the stage with their performances, but when it comes to the red carpet looks there was not a lot of excitement. Most of the celebrities opted for a safe black choice or shiny sequins, while a few brave ones like Rihanna took all the spotlight in a luxurious gown.
WHO: Gwen Stefani looked stunning in Versace jumpsuit.The jumpsuit had a really cool detailing and Gwen pull it off so perfectly. Her hairstyles excellently fit with the look, and red manicure was a great final touch. She also wore black pointy Christian Louboutin pumps and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.
WHO: Rihanna wowed the crowd in pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown. Her hair and makeup were simple which made a perfect match with this luxurious dress. The look was finished with Chopard jewellery.
WHO: Jessie J makes her red carpet appearance by wearingRalph & Russo. This sexy see-through sequin dress was combined with a sleek hairstyle and dark red lipstick. She looked very elegant but still edgy and chic.
WHO: Ciara showed up in outstanding black Alexandre Vauthier Couture gown. Dresses like this one are really hard to pull off, but Ciara did a great job. The hairstyle was a perfect choice for this look, as well as the black pointy pumps and gold belt.
WHO: Katy Perry shined on the red carpet in sparkly fringe Zuhair Murad dress and Sophia Webster heels in the same shade. She got all the attention with her performance, but also with unique purple hair colour. Faithful to her style, it actually looks good on her.
WHO: Anna Kenrick looked sexy in Band of Outsiders suit paired with Jimmy Choo shoes. She proved that you cannot go wrong with a simple black outfit, smokey eyes makeup and rich waves. She also wore a bunch of Venyx World jewellery and Uma K rings.
WHO: Young superstar Taylor Swift showed up in a turquoise blue Elie Saab dress paired with deep pink Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. Taylor’s hairstyle was chic and girly which really suit her. Her look was finished with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.
WHO: Katharine McPhee makes her red carpet appearance in Emilio Pucci soft pink gown with gold details. This colour really suits her skin tone so the makeup was a great choice as well. Katharine also wore Giuseppe Zanotti heels and Vernier jewels, although other earring styles would make a better statement.
WHO: Beyonce looked like a real diva in custom Proenza Schouler dress paired with Balenciaga shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery. The dress was different, but not so interesting, but she still looks really chic. Another hairstyle would definitely be a better choice.
WHO: Actress Nicole Kidman decided for a classic black look with a Thierry Mugler dress, pointy Prabal Gurung shoes and Cindy Turner earrings. Simple and elegant, it’s hard to make a mistake with a red carpet look like this one.
